In the Beginning 1
The book of Genesis, which begins with the words, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,” is a book that we must take note of. When we look at the entire Bible through the book of Genesis, we are able to see in advance what the Bible is trying to tell us.
The process of the creation of the heavens and the earth shows the whole picture of the creation. God, who put His purpose on this earth, carried out this process of creation with His words in order to fulfill His plan.
We can discover the shadow of the precious blood of Jesus hidden throughout the book of Genesis, such as in the tunics of skin that God clothed Adam and Eve with, and in the image of Abel who gave sheep as an offering. In other words, it shows the work of salvation unfolding from the moment Adam sinned.
